Time and money are often lost while designing and implementing a bad design for the web. What I've learned over the last 18 years is that you must design for the web. Period.
I started out as just a Graphic Designer working with a team of developers and what I found was that most of my really cool designs could not be transformed into web pages. As a matter of fact, in most cases I had to create a new design from scratch. Now that I am also a web developer I can avoid the pitfalls that designers fail to see and produce designs that I know will work on the web. The bottom line is that every design for the web must be for...the...web. I love the excitement of developing new and innovative web applications as well as managing a project with a team of developers and designers. The web is always changing and you need to move fast to keep up. I pride myself on my ability to keep up with the latest technology and produce quality results in a short period of time.
